Years ago as I stood looking at the rows of headstones of the Arlington Memorial Cemetary, the overwhelming sacrifice for the freedom and liberty was obvious. This Memorial Day, may we remember those who have fought and lost their lives for those who have fought for us - in Arlington, VA or in Sandy, UT, and everywhere in between. Thanks!

Howdy, Ya'll!! Recital was just last weekend and "Americana" was a hit. The advanced level girls were cowgirls this year, don't I look fancy in my recital duds and sweats, and enjoyed the experience of demi-solos (2 or 3 dancers at a time with one or 2 groups at times). Next year Liz will be a senior and as long as she keeps active in ballet (laugh hard here), she will have a solo in next year's recital. Yeah!
She also had the exciting experience of watching her little 3/4 year old "popcorn" and 4/5/6 year old "prancing ponies" that she has worked with all year. They did a great job! They were so cute! The recital takes in all of the Bountiful School of Ballet students, and they work on it from January until May. Everyone buys their own fun costume which the teachers come up with and order, tweak and make sure are fun and fit the dance.

Well, it's been almost 6 full months since Jeff left on his mission. The rainy season is on, but he did send me a new great picture! The weird things missionary mom's get excited about. For those of you who know him, please note that he has a neck and fills out his shirt. He has actually put on some weight.

I am proud to announce that my dad, a Justice on the Utah State Surpereme Court, Is officially retiring from the Court! He has been serving on the Court for 12 years, and on the Court of Appeals before that. He has been a guest professor at BYU's Law School. He has been on numerous national panels on law policy. Mostly he has been an awesome Justice! Congratulations Dad!

For all us good Twi-hards, here is a countdown to the Eclipse movie. Other exciting things: Oprah is going to have the main characters on her May 13 show (sorry Dad, got to have my priorities straight). Just in case you didn't know, I kind like kinda Stephenie Meyer's series. Oh, well.
